Rt. Rev. Mar Melchizedek, BA, MDiv, DD (h.c.), PhD
Interim Administrator (Chancellor)


Rev.  Melchizedek completed secondary and most of tertiary schooling in Europe. He studied Philosophy in Seminary and majored in Latin and Classical Greek, completing his theological post-graduate studies in Catholic seminary and his doctorate in Hellenic (Greek) Literature at MSTG University in Athens, Greece.
Mar Melchizedek taught at an Orthodox theological school as professor and doctoral mentor for almost two decades before becoming part of Meister Eckhart Divinity School.
Earlier in his life, Mar Melchizedek  schooled in Early Childhood education and obtained a Montessori teaching certificate. Additionally, he is trained and certified in Zen meditation, Tai Chi and Reiki therapy.
Mar Melchizedek serves as bishop of the Nebraska Ukrainian Orthodox Exarchate.

Rev. Martin Arredondo, BA, MEd

Registrar


Rev. Arredondo has been in education for over 10 yeas and has worked in the Recruitment and Admissions Department as well as Adjunct Instructor. His experience comes from working in various institutions of higher learning and the U.S. federal government. - When not at his current parish, he spends his time gardening on his small family farm, where he also has a dog rescue while holding close to his heart the teachings of St. Francis of Assisi. - Rev. Marty is homeschooling his children and taking them on educational road trips. He also does wood working.


Judy Quitoriano, Lic. Theol., DD
Spiritual Director (Chaplain)

Ms. Judy Quitoriano has worked in many areas of ministry, including education of children and adults, music, support for caregivers, visitations to the sick and dying, spiritual direction, hospital chaplaincy and faith group facilitation.
She is available to students, staff and faculty for spiritual counsel.

Rev. Tom Roberts, MDiv, DD, PhD

Professor of Theology


Tom Roberts holds Bachelor's Degree from Triune Biblical University, a Master's Degree from Covenant Bible College and Seminary, as well as an M. Div. and a Ph.D. in Theology from the Hellenic Orthodox University in Athens, Greece; a Doctorate of Divinity from St. Mark Seminary and College.  Tom is also professor at Florida Bible Institute and Seminary in addition to his Faculty position at Meister Eckhart Divinity School.  He believes that his mission is to make biblical knowledge more widely known among the general public.  Formerly, he has been a professional singer, a lay pastor and a D.J.  He currently holds Holy Orders with the Communion of Anglican Churches International under the Order of St Alcuin. Rev Dr. Roberts has presented at various scholarly symposiums and has published in theological journals.


Alexander Ciurana, B.Th., M.T.S., M.A.T.S., Ph.D. (cand.)
Professor of Theology

Alex Ciurana began his formal religious training in Tacoma, Washington, completing undergraduate studies at Halo Christian University and a Master's Degree in Theological Studies at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Seminary.  At The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (now Sofia University), he explored the exciting nexus between modern psychology and spiritual formation. Alex is currently a doctoral candidate at Sofia University.  His dissertation is titled, "Monotheism and Philotheism: An Examination of Two Formative Psychospiritual Orientations". 

Jim Jackson, BA, MS, DD

Professor of Theology


Jim holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of San Francisco, CA, and a Master's Degree in Program Management from Texas A&M, Killian, TX. Furthermore, he holds a Divinity Degree from St. Elias School of Orthodox Theology, Seward, NE.
Jim is still very curious about life and eager to learn. He is a caring person who loves his fellow human being.


Judy Quitoriano, Lic. Theol., DD
Professor of Theology

Judy Quitoriano is an educator and artist who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.  She received her Licentiate in Theology and her Doctorate of Divinity at St. Elias School of Orthodox Theology.  Judy also holds a Pastoral Counseling Certificate and has written and published several books.
Judy loves to continue the legacy of her father by teaching applied theology.
 

Rt. Rev. Fr. Jack Cunningham, OSM, MPA, BS

Professor of Theology

 

Fr. Jack holds a Bachelor’s Degree from City College and a Master’s Degree from City University.  He is a member of the Monastic Order of St. Michael. Jack Cunningham is a retired Criminal Justice Administrator. He first became an Episcopal Commissioned Missionary in 2010, was ordained as a Priest in 2011 and then a Bishop in 2013 in the of the Celtic Catholic Church, USA. He serves as a Volunteer Chaplain at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center and at Community Home Health & Hospice. Fr. Jack is currently a doctoral candidate at our Divinity School.


William P. Mills, DD, PhD, LLD
Professor of Theology

Bill holds Bachelors degrees in Political Science and Psychology from Southern Oregon University and Doctorates in Divinity, Physics and International Law from Trinity College, University of Cambridge. He is the director of All Science Leads to God, a non-profit foundation, whose mission is to promote Christian unity through education, apologetics and ecumenical outreach.
Prof. Mills is a coordinator for JustServe.org, an interdenominational, ecumenical service ministry.  He is also active in church ministry, mentoring and education.
David Morgan, PhD
Professor of Theology

Dr. Morgan has multiple Masters' degrees in biblical history, language and literature. He received his Doctorate in Hebrew Bible from the University of Aberdeen, UK. He spends his time with Bible translation work, writing, editing projects and photography. In addition, he makes time to mentor students and encourages them to enjoy kingdom life and contributing to the common good.
